1. Who is responsible for your data

Venture Racing is a trading name of Venture Associates Management LTD, registered in England and Wales, company number 16880807, the controller of your personal data under UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. Contact us about your data on WhatsApp: +44 7458 149 572.

2. What we collect

• Free-trial form: your first and last name, email address and mobile number, the date and time you submitted, and a record of the boxes you ticked.
• Messages and enquiries: anything you send us on WhatsApp, including your WhatsApp number and profile name.
• Website analytics (only if you accept): anonymous page-view and device information. See section 7.

3. Why we use it, and our legal basis

• To run your free trial (send selections by SMS or WhatsApp, and phone you once the trial ends to talk about continuing): your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
• To send offers and updates beyond the trial: only if you ticked the optional box, based on your consent.
• To answer your enquiries: our legitimate interest in replying to you.
• To keep records and meet legal duties: legal obligation and legitimate interest.
• Website analytics: your consent (the Accept button on the cookie banner).

We do not sell your data and we do not make automated decisions about you.

4. Who we share it with

We use trusted providers to run the service. They only act on our instructions:

• Google (Sheets and Apps Script), where trial sign-ups are stored.
• WhatsApp (Meta) and your mobile network, to deliver messages.
• Vercel, which hosts this website and provides analytics if you accept.

Some of these providers process data outside the UK. Where they do, we rely on approved safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or an adequacy decision.

5. How long we keep it

We keep trial sign-up details for 12 months after your trial ends, then delete them, unless you become a member (in which case we keep them while you are a member and for a short period afterwards for records). If you ask us to stop contacting you, we keep a minimal record of that so we do not message you again.

6. Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to how we use it, to move it, or to withdraw consent at any time (for example by replying STOP to a message or messaging us on WhatsApp). Withdrawing consent does not affect anything we did before. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

7. Cookies and analytics

The site works without any optional cookies. We use one optional analytics tool (Vercel Web Analytics) to see how many people visit and which pages they use. It only runs after you click Accept analytics on the banner. We store your choice in your browser so we do not ask again. You can change your mind at any time using Cookie settings in the footer.

8. Age

The Service is for people aged 18 and over and we do not knowingly collect data from under-18s.

9. Changes

We may update this notice. The date at the top shows the latest version.
